Having been introduced to crewel stitching by my mother at the age of 12. I have spent the last 4 decades perfecting skills in different aspects of hand embroidery. For a number of years I have  been teaching adult classes for novices and experienced pupils. I have been encouraged to pass on to others the sheer joy I find in stitching, teaching, and designing. My favorite techniques include stump-work, crewel-work, and white work. I have studied with many internationally renowned teachers including Alison Cole, Hazel Blomkamp, Jane Nicholas,Kay Stanis, and Jette Roy Finlay-Heath. I am grateful to them all for inspiring me to create kits and workshops that will provide joy and challenge to other embroiderers.
